My Work

Some recent clients and media partners

Worldreader Originals

As Senior Media Consultant for Worldreader Originals I was brought onboard to advise the team on development slate planning, processes and more in order to fast-establish an original IP catalogue for this worldwide not-for-profit. Tasked to raise the bar in creating lexile-level-boosting illustrated books for children and their guardians, I commissioned, wrote and project-managed multiple ebook titles to publication. I also coached and supported the wider team in doing the same.

Audible Originals

As Senior Commissioning Editor for Audible Originals (UK), I was able to combine my prior experience in business development and publisher management to develop and commission brand partnership content for Audible’s inaugural original drama and podcast catalogue. In a few short years, the growing original productions list had won numerous Audie and New York Radio awards and was integral in cementing Audible’s focus on original content as a key offering.

wordPLAY London, Spoken Word Night

In my creative development and commissioning work, I’ve always been passionate about highlighting and supporting a diverse range of talented voices.
I established wordPLAY London as an alternative to some literary showcases that seemed to revolve around a small and rarified subset of people and content. wordPLAY ran as a monthly night at The Good Ship, Kilburn, attracting talent such as Kate Tempest, Tim Key, Annie Freud and George Szirtes. The night also debuted a number of rising star writers such as Betty Trask-award-winning author Sarah Day. wordPLAY now partners with arts institutions such as The Southbank Centre (Pacifica Poets, Poetry Parnassus) and charitable initiatives such as Ghosts of Gone Birds (A Flock of Poets).
